Following the fantastic success of our EASD 2006 Run in Copenhagen, to Change Diabetes, where more than 4,500 runners, both EASD Delegates and Danish residents participated in our effort to highlight the pandemic problems of Diabetes, we once again offer you the opportunity to show your support.

You will have the thrill of running a full lap of the Amsterdam Olympic Stadium as well as running through the Amsterdamse Bos (Amsterdam Forest), a scenic, idyllic spot, close to the Stadium.

As we did in Copenhagen, we are inviting the citizens of Amsterdam and the surrounding area, members of the many Diabetes Associations, that do such good work in the Netherlands, and you, the delegates of EASD to participate in this evening event to raise awareness for Diabetes. Along with the Changing Diabetes bus, which will be in NeuwMarkt throughout EASD, and which has touched the lives of over 8 million people in 2006/2007, we would like this event to demonstrate each and every participants commitment to highlighting the need for awareness of diabetes.
