It is my great pleasure to invite you to the 81st Congress of the
European Orthodontic Society, which will be held in Amsterdam from June
3rd to 7th 2005. It is more than 25 years ago that this meeting took
place in the Netherlands and we are proud to host the congress after
such a long time. The Organising Committee extends a warm invitation to
you to join this premier scientific and social event.

Don't forget to register for the President's Reception, which is
included in the registration fee. This exciting informal event will
be completely different from earlier years. Ships were built at the
wharf on the island of Oostenburg. The historic factory premises
were converted into an impressive event centre, while the industrial
characteristics were maintained and this is the venue for this
congress evening. We will have an exciting party with a lot of
entertainment. The Silver Mill Competition will take place during
the party and you are invited to compose a country team to compete
for this typical Dutch trophee.
