Transportation
 
  How to reach Amsterdam city centre from Schiphol Amsterdam International Airport:
  • by train: there is a direct railway connection (approx. 10 minutes) from the airport to the city centre. The cost for a train ticket (one-way) is around € 4.-
  • by taxi (approx. 20 minutes): taxis are available at the taxi stands outside the terminal. The price for a journey into the city centre is approximately € 35.-

How to reach ACTA:
ACTA is easily accessible by tram and bus. You can board the following tram and bus to reach ACTA. They all stop near the Slotervaart Ziekenhuis/ACTA at the corner of Louwesweg 1 / Johan Huizingalaan.

Tram 2: From Amsterdam Central Station – Hoofddorpplein – [ACTA] – Nieuw Sloten (end station).

Bus 18: From Amsterdam Central Station – [ACTA] – Nieuw Sloten (end station).

How to reach the RAI:
By air
There is a direct railway connection between Schiphol Amsterdam Airport and the Amsterdam RAI Congress Centre (10 minutes by train).

By train
Amsterdam RAI Railway Station
From this station it is a short walk (8 minutes) to the Congress Centre. You can also take tram 4; first stop in front of the Congress Centre.
Central Railway Station
There is a direct connection to the Congress Centre by tram 4.
Amstel Railway Station
The Congress Centre can be reached by bus no. 15, 69 or 169, or tram no. 51.

There will be no shuttle service available between Schiphol Amsterdam International Airport, the Amsterdam RAI or the congress hotels.

By car
Via Utrecht (A2): follow the signs for RAI, the Congress Centre exit is the first one on the A10, directly after the A2-A10 intersection. Via The Hague (A4): follow the signs for Amsterdam-Zuid/RAI signposted just before entering Amsterdam.

Public transport ticket
Public transport tickets for 4 days can be ordered in advance on the registration form. The price per ticket is € 15.-. These tickets will be issued upon arrival at the Registration/Information desk.

Car parking
Ample underground parking space is available at the Congress Centre. Participants arriving by car are advised to use these facilities. A special multi-entry ticket including overnight parking for the period from 3 June up to and including 6 June 2005 is available at a reduced rate of € 32.- (including VAT). Please order this ticket in advance of the enclosed Registration Form.
