How to get to the Seminar Venue
By car
Leave the ring road A10 via the exit Watergraafsmeer/ Diemen (S113): follow the Middenweg (direction Centrum/ Watergraafsmeer), which turns into the Linnaeusstraat. KIT is at the corner of the Linnaeusstraat and the Mauritskade. There are paid parking facilities in the vicinity.
By public transport
From Amsterdam Central Station: tram 9, bus 22
From Amsterdam Muiderpoort Station: tram 3 or 7
From Dam square: tram 9 or 14
From Leidseplein: tram 7 or 10

Parking
There are enough on-street parking areas near KIT. Please note that all parking in the centre of Amsterdam is metered from Monday through Saturday, 09.00 to 19.00. For rates and other parking information, please visit http://www.bereikbaaramsterdam.nl. Parking meters take coins and Chipknip smart cards.

Coffee, tea and lunch
Coffee, tea and lunch is included in the registration fee and will be served free of charge to delegates wearing name badges.

Insurance
The Organising Committee of the 13th International Haemovigilance Seminar, nor the Seminar Secretariat accept any liability for personal injury, loss or damage of property belonging, or additional expenses incurred to seminar participants either during the seminar or as a result of delays, strikes or any other causes. Participants are requested to make their own arrangements in respect of health and travel insurance.
Language
English has been chosen as the working language for the seminar.
Programme changes
The organisers cannot assume liability for any changes in the programme due to external or unforeseen circumstances.
Travel, visa and letter of invitation
Please check with the Dutch Embassy/Consulate concerning your visa regulations when making travel arrangements.
The Seminar Secretariat will send letters of invitation only to registered participants upon request. It should be understood that this letter is only to help delegates to raise travel funds or to obtain a visa and is not a commitment on the part of the organisers to provide any financial support. Applications for a letter of invitation should be received by the Seminar Secretariat before January 1, 2011. The Secretariat will be able to send you a letter of invitation by fax or e-mail.
Applications received after January 1, 2011 will not be dealt with. Refunds can not be made because of visa applications not being granted.
Weather
The weather in Amsterdam and surroundings in February may be variable and occasionally cold. The average temperature is around 5°C.
